Guardian Shield Academy provides online course access, hybrid training, and in-person class reservations. Refund and rescheduling decisions depend on the course format, whether online training has started, whether quizzes or exams have been attempted, and whether an in-person seat, instructor time, or range/classroom session has been scheduled.

Refund requests should be made before course activity begins.
Online course purchases may be reviewed for refund before a student begins the course, opens protected lesson content, submits lesson quizzes, attempts a final exam, or receives completion records. Once course access has been used, refunds may be limited because the training material and student record have already been delivered.
The online and in-person portions are handled separately.
For the Illinois 28-hour firearm training path, the 20-hour online portion is treated as online access once started. The final 8-hour in-person range/classroom portion may be rescheduled when class size, instructor availability, and range scheduling allow.
Class seats, instructor time, and range time require planning.
Concealed carry, renewal, requalification, and live-fire training seats should be rescheduled as early as possible. No-shows, late cancellations, or missed scheduled training sessions may be non-refundable or may require an additional scheduling fee.
Payment does not guarantee a license, approval, or passing score.
Training fees cover course access, instruction, class seats, and administrative processing. State licensing decisions, background checks, eligibility questions, exam scores, range performance, and agency determinations are outside the academy's control.
Duplicate charges and payment errors should be reported quickly.
If you believe you were charged incorrectly, charged twice, or enrolled in the wrong course by mistake, contact the academy promptly so the order can be reviewed before course access or scheduling moves forward.
Send the order details before asking your bank to reverse a payment.
Include your full name, order email, phone number, course name, order date, and a short explanation of the request. This helps Guardian Shield Academy review the training record and respond with the available next steps.
